WHAT'S IN LIFE?

I think y'all have to wire my aza because my soothsaying skills have become top-notch. I gave you a heads-up about October. I hope you had a plan. I would describe mine as bittersweet. A beautiful beginning with a rollercoaster ending. I'm pretty sure everybody had their share.  Some got crumbs, and others, Lion's Share. I think I fall in the category of others. What about you? Regardless of the category, I hope you didn't fall off the radar. Cause I did, and I fell hard.  October was razz for me. At first, I was dividing myself into two, which is a lot, and by the middle of October, I was into three.  Let me not even get started about the end part because it was not funny. 😪 So yes, I did fall, and the crazy thing is, I didn't want to get back up. The stress was three much. In my mind, I thought if I put myself back up, I won't be able to hold fast. I just wanted it all to end.  Then I came to a realization. It never ends.  Funny enough, that's what life...

YOU NEED A DESIGN!

September has taught us a lot. October will teach us more. I'm sure some things have happened this month that have left you in awe. It may have been good or bad. What's important is, did you learn from it?  Did it make you think otherwise? The most important question: Did you plan it? I followed the burial of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, very closely for two reasons. One, because I'm a lover of history. I get a sense of satisfaction when history is made, and her death is definitely history. The second reason is that I saw a video on how the Queen's burial had been planned even before her death. I wanted to see if they'll fall through with it, and to my utmost surprise, it went accordingly, with more things to fall into play now that King Charles III is on the throne. If you watched it, you had seen how organized they were. From the Royal family down to the people who came to pay their last respects. This burial was planned even before the Queen died,...

DON'T DIE IN SILENCE

GET HELP! I started writing at an early stage.  It was mainly for pleasure at the time.  It helped me gain a hold on a subject I wanted to master. So when I experienced writer's block, I didn't take it seriously because I didn't see writing as a principle back then. With time, I saw myself getting more engrossed in writing. It came easy to me. It became a medium of expression. I'm angry, I write. I'm happy, I write. I'm sad, I write. Whatever emotion, I pen it down. It became my solace. The need for people to hear me came, and that's when my blog was birthed.  I didn't even know about niches. All I wanted to do was write. So I started TIMEOUTWITHDESE. Published my first article. I was nervous at first. It was the first time people were going to see my work. I felt like a mother; who was sending her child outside for the first time. So many funny thoughts ran through my mind, but I did it. Then came the responses from people.  My heart melted....

THE WORLD OF A MAN

There's this silly saying that "Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus".  Very funny. But looking at it from a different point of view, you'll see that it's actually true.  Mars is the fourth planet away from the Sun and it's really cold and unfortunately that's how the world sees them.  Cold-hearted...  Cruel   Heartless    Insensitive     Inhuman Only one gender. Not easy yeah? Have you ever wondered why the antagonist in most romance novels are women? Or why both male and female authors dwell so much on them (women) like there's only one gender on earth? Well it's easy, men are a whole lot complex species. In this little time I've spent on earth, I've had my fair share of interacting with them and trust me when I say they're easy to understand I'm a totally different way. As a child, I watched the way my brothers were treated, quite different I must say. Although I am the most senior out of all my siblings, my dad...
